Location :

Villard-de-Lans is located at an altitude of 1000 m (3300 ft.) in the center of the Vercors, an immense Natural Park surrounded by mountains. The weather in May can be fairly varied, with average temperatures of about 20°C / 68 F / 293.15 K. The temperature inside the Villard ice-rink will be about 7°C / 45 F / 280.15 K.


Travelling to Villard de Lans :

If travelling by air, train or bus it is recommended to travel first to Grenoble to the central train station "gare S.N.C.F." or to the central bus station "gare routière" next to "gare S.N.C.F.". There is a local bus service leaving regularly (~10 times a day) from "gare routière" for Villard the Lans.
